WABA (WhatsApp Business Account)
The top-level account entity in WhatsApp's system that holds your business information, phone numbers, and messaging configuration.
How it works
A WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) is the container that holds all your WhatsApp Business assets, including phone numbers, message templates, quality ratings, and billing information. A single WABA can have multiple phone numbers attached to it, each serving as a separate messaging channel. WABAs are created through the Meta Business Suite and linked to a Meta Business Manager. Each WABA has a unique ID used in API calls, and its quality rating directly affects your messaging limits. Businesses typically have one WABA per brand, though large enterprises may operate multiple WABAs for different regions or product lines.
