Reply Button
An interactive message element that displays up to 3 tappable buttons, each triggering a predefined response when pressed.
How it works
Reply buttons are the simplest form of interactive message on WhatsApp. They display up to 3 buttons below your message text, each with a label of up to 20 characters. When a user taps a button, their selection is sent as a reply message that your system can process programmatically. Reply buttons are ideal for binary choices (Yes/No), confirmation flows (Confirm/Cancel/Edit), and simple routing (Sales/Support/Billing). They achieve significantly higher response rates than asking users to type keywords. Each button has an ID that your webhook receives, making it easy to build branching conversation flows. Reply buttons work in both session messages and approved templates.
